Living life with friends
The Leucadia Club is a private, member-run 501(c)(7) social club on Coast Highway 101 in Leucadia, Encinitas. It started in 2013 to give its members a place close to home to relax, talk and get to know one another. More than a decade later, that is still the point.
Who we are
We are about 55 members. Many of us live and work in North County San Diego.
About four in ten of us started or run our own companies. Others are partners in firms, lead teams at large organizations, or are earlier in their careers. Some run small local businesses. Others work at some of the biggest companies in the world.
We work in professional services and finance, life sciences and healthcare, marketing and media, insurance, technology, consumer brands and real estate. That mix is a big part of why people stay. You might come in for a drink and leave with a new friend, a good idea, or a straight answer from someone who has done the thing you’re trying to do.
The clubhouse
The clubhouse is our shared space. It has a members’ bar with local beer and wine, room to work during the day, and a quiet corner for a call or a small meeting. Members look after it together and keep it simple and comfortable.
How it works
We are a nonprofit social club, owned and run by our members. We stay small on purpose, so it feels like a neighborhood place and not a venue.
New members join through a current member who sponsors them. Members may bring guests, as long as the guests stay with them.
What we’re building
A club where neighbors become friends, and friends help each other build good lives, good work and a good town.
If you know a member, ask them about the club. If you don’t yet, we’d be glad to hear from you. Email admin@leucadiaclub.com.
